So much for protecting the schools. Jennifer Granholm's budget suggests cutting school aid by $59/student. It's not chump change. There are over 16,000 students in the Ann Arbor schools. That's almost a million dollars! And she also proposes cutting funding to before- and after-school programs. If you want to protest, contact your state senators and representatives.
