Advocacy Resource
Are you in need of some basic information regarding how to access special education resources? Do you need some "sample letters" to advocate for your child around behavior? The Student Advocacy Center has a nice overview of what special ed is all about, how to access testing and resources, why you might want to advocate to get your child tested, and what to do if you don't agree with the schools. They also have sample letters on a whole lot of issues, including how to address behavior and discipline issues with the schools. Check it out before you need it!
